A block tag says something about a block that Intecrop does not already know,
in your own words. The usual one is where the fruit goes: some of your Table
grapes blocks go for raisins and the rest are packed fresh, so you tag the
raisin blocks Use: Raisins. A tag has a key, Use, and a value,
Raisins.
Here, on a farm with three Table grapes blocks, A1 and A2 (Crimson Seedless) go for raisins and B1 (Prime) does not.
Only a farm admin or a manager can put tags on blocks and take them off. Everyone else on the farm can see them.
Tag one block
Open the block from the Blocks list and scroll down to the Tags card. It shows the tags the block has, or No tags on this block yet.
Under Key, choose a key or type a new one. Under Value, choose a value or type a new one. Press Add tag.

The tag shows on the card. A block has only one value for a key: if A1 already
had a Use, the new value takes its place.

To take a tag off the block, press the cross on it.
Tag many blocks at once
On the Blocks list, open Actions and choose Tag blocks.

It offers every block of the season you are looking at, even when the list is filtered. Nothing is ticked to start with. Tick the blocks you want:
- All blocks ticks every block.
- When you have more than one crop, cultivar or production unit, there is a box for each, which ticks all of its blocks. Here, Crimson Seedless ticks A1 and A2 and leaves B1.
- Each block also has a box of its own.
Choose the key and the value as you would on one block. The line next to Tag says what pressing it will do, here Puts Use: Raisins on 2 blocks. A block that already has a Use gets this value instead. Press Tag.

Intecrop confirms with Tagged 2 blocks Use: Raisins. A1 already had the tag, and keeps it.
List only the tagged blocks
On the Blocks list, press Filters and choose the tag under Tagged. You can choose more than one: the list then shows the blocks that carry any of them.

Press Apply filters. The list shows A1 and A2, and B1 is gone. The tag shows above the list, with a cross to take the filter off again.

With the filter on, Pivot table under Actions opens the application summary for the tagged blocks only, and Export… starts with the same tag chosen. See Create an application summary.
Take a key off many blocks
Open Tag blocks again. It still offers B1, even though the list is filtered to the raisin blocks.
Tick the blocks, press Clear a key, and choose the key. Whatever value each block has under that key comes off; a block without the key is left as it is. The line next to Clear says so: Takes Use off the chosen block, if it has it. Press Clear.

Intecrop confirms with Took Use off 1 block. A2 no longer carries
Use: Raisins, so the filtered list now shows only A1.
To rename a tag, merge two, or delete one from every block at once, use the Tags page in the menu on the left.
